Meet the POC Trees For Bench Project. This is a unique project in which, for every bench sold, we will plant a tree in the Amazon region. By doing so, we will grow our own POC forest. With this project, we are reinforcing our efforts to become the world’s most sustainable manufacturer of outdoor furniture by actively contributing to nature conservation and development. Public Outdoor Creations ambition is to be the most sustainable manufacturer of street furniture in the world. With the introduction of the Carbon Zero program we are leading our industry and ready for 2050.
Choosing Carbon Zero means that:
Our products are made from C02 neutral produced (CorTen) steel
The seats are made of high quality Bamboo that grows in 5 years and produces up to 36x more oxygen than hardwood
We produce locally and all the electricity needed for production is self-generated
All indirect C02 released during production and transportation is offset by planting trees in our own POC forest in Brazil.
